Performance Class This is a six week class for singers who are ready to take the next step with their music. In this class you will: Learn about using chord charts and working with musicians Gain confidence and techniques for working through stage fright Get feedback on your performance in a supportive group environment Learn how to arrange and promote a concert The previous class held two performances: Thursday June 7 at the Octavia Lounge, and Tuesday June 12 at Vessel, a brand new club off Union Square. The next class will start in July 2007. Introductory Singing Workshop For the beginning singer, this is a class to cover the basics of expanding your range, gaining control of your voice, and learning how to style a song. Each student will receive songs to practice, cd's of vocal exercises, and an opportunity to sing in front of a small supportive group. The class is limited to five students.
