What happens at the showcase Every few months, students who are ready get to perform at the showcase. We hire professional musicians (in addition to Kelly Park), make charts, and have a great time listening to everyone sing. At our last showcase, the club was packed from 7:00 pm to 10:30, and a wide array of musicians and singers performed. A DVD of the evenings was made which can be ordered from John Scott. Who is Kelly Park? Kelly Park is a former faculty member of the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He perfoms and tours internationally and recently was featured on the number one T.V show in the summer of 2006. He works regularly works as a producer, arranger and pianist on pop and jazz albums, and is the owner of » Kellys of Alameda, a top Jazz Venue in the East Bay.
