Katherine Park Deakin has over a decade of voice, piano, choral, speech, and songwriting teaching experience in an array of styles and languages. Her teaching has taken her all over the country including Windsor, Connecticut and Enfield, Connecticut Public Schools; San Luis Obispo, California's Activity Center; and Willow Music School in San Jose, California. Deakin is a graduate of The Hartt School in Connecticut, where she earned a bachelor of music degree in music education with vocal emphasis. She has sung in Notre Dame de Paris, Canterbury Cathedral, and Harvard University's Sanders Theatre. Her recordings have appeared on NPR, My TV New England, and cable television.  Her fun and effective teaching earns her excellent reviews from her students.
